ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÖ·´óÈ« will host five of America’s top professional anglers in a four-week Bass Techniques program in Tulsa as Grand Lake gets set to host the prestigious Bassmaster Classic at the end of February. Two previous Bassmaster Classic Champions Paul Elias and Ken Cook will be part of ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÖ·´óȫ’s Bass Techniques program. (pictured: Ken Cook, former Bassmaster Classic Champion)
The series begins with Tommy Biffle, the angler that many experts say they feel might win the Bassmaster Classic on Grand Lake. Bass Techniques will also feature well-known Grand Lake guide, Ivan Martin, and former B.A.S.S. pro Jim Morton.
Bass Techniques returns to Tulsa after a seven-year absence. This nationally-recognized program has been inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, and creates a classroom setting where participants can learn first-hand from five of America’s top professional anglers.
Bass Techniques is an accelerated course in bass fishing strategy. Each instructor has an area of expertise that he relies on to get bass into the boat. Instructor Paul Elias used the Alabama Rig technique to boat 103 pounds of bass in a 2011 FLW Tournament. Elias will teach the ins-and-outs and do’s-and-don’ts of this tactic. Other pro instructors have their favorite cutting-edge tactics to share and Grand Lake guide Ivan Martin will talk about his developed fishing techniques for each season on Grand Lake.
Bass Techniques is a series of four face-to-face sessions, beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 13 and continuing Wednesday, Feb. 20, Tuesday, Feb. 26 and Monday, March 4 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The enrollment fee for the four-week Bass Techniques course is $99.00.
